Re: reject transfer
Let's say that I was offered 3.5 million - that is 233% higher than the lowest price, but only 25% higher than the highest price. Would that be unreasonable? My opinion on this: if 2 or more teams fight for the player and the offer reaches 3.5M it's ok. If he is on the list with 500k starting price...

Re: reject transfer
I disagree. Topics are only closed when specific bans are discussed. I'd love to see a discussion about this, because I agree it's a very difficult topic. Thank you for your reply, my friend.... It is difficult to resolve this sort of topic without having specific bans to refer to. The word 'reason...

Re: Putting money on the bank/stocks
I used to agree with you - I had millions of dollars in the 'bank', it wasn't earning any money for me, and I wanted a way to earn some sort of a return on it. Then, I realized that SoccerProject already contains an investment function - the transfer market. Let's say that you want to earn 5% per se...

Re: reject transfer
This issue is the absolute worst part of this game - there is an abstract line called 'reasonable' and each of us is called upon to predict where that line may fall, lest we lose our teams. There is absolutely no guidance provided about what is 'reasonable'. Moreover, the moment we try to discuss sp...

Uhhhhh..... It is entirely possible that I don't understand what you are asking for. If that is the case, I apologize in advance. However, as far as I know, it is already possible to do this. If you click on 'automatic', your coach will select each player's lowest headskill (if not maxed) and then, ...

To revisit this topic, I just made some calculations about my current cup run. So far this cup, I have made a profit of 266,051 euros. I have a home game on Saturday (against an F-Division squad) and, if I win it, my overall profit for this season's cup should be approaching 400,000 euros. 400,000 e...

I voted 'no'..... In my mind, home field advantage adds a whole lot to the Cup. It can close the smallest gap between two teams and usually plays a factor in those unexpected, extremely profitable cup runs..... This game already takes a number of liberties with realism and I really don't think it ne...

What if there was a screen 'in between' making the offer and having the player accept it? Say you offer 8000 a game and a signing bonus of 8000000, the confirmation screen could say..... You offered blah blah eight k per game and a signing bonus of 8 m. Continue? Y/N While commas might be really goo...

In the real world, incredibly angry, aggressive players have the ability to calm down. They can go to tai chi, they can meditate, they can see sports psychologists, etc. However, there is always a downside to trying to reform extremely aggressive players. In decreasing aggressiveness, you run the ri...

Paul, read my reply to your original thread about this exact same topic. But, just in case you did read it and did not understand it, let me try to make things even clearer for you. If you are concerned about inflation, just take some time to ensure that you are actually running your team well and m...

You should remember that allowing wealthier players to buy higher ranked players will increase the supply of 'star' players. If you increase the supply of a scarce resource, you are going to decrease the price of that resource. By decreasing the price of 'star' players, you are going to hurt those l...
