Player aggression vs. referee strictness
Hi all,
Well.. can someone explain to me how the algorithm for this game works in terms of player aggression and referee strictness.
Today I lost a league game against a team with average aggression 91.9. My team had a 10.9. Referee had a 100% strictness. We both set a team aggression at 100%.
At the end my team collected 10 yellows with two reds (no direct reds). The opponent had 11 yellows with one red (no direct red).
So, he had fewer cards than me even though he had a much more aggressive players (91.9 vs.10.9). Even my total performance was better (783 vs.777).
I am very frustrated with this unrealistic outcome.
This is not just about this game. I've noticed that this happens very often when it comes to player aggression and referee strictness, and that the algorithm favors teams with higher aggression players. It's practically impossible to beat a team with high aggression players if they set their team aggression to maximum.
I think that's wrong and very unrealistic.
I've just check all games from the season 119 of the team Er2c. He also has a low aggression players like mine. Minimum 7 games from the last season had an unrealistic outcome.
My next league game is against a similar team with high aggression players and max team aggression and the referee is also has high strictness. It will be interesting to see what will happen.
If there is something in this story that I don't see or understand or am wrong, I would like someone to enlighten me. Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Delboy

I've send you a PM.
Re: Player aggression vs. referee strictness
You really have to have good nerves and not get nervous about this kind of algorithm nonsense in this game.

136-131 and a red card with only 4 cards in total and lost 2-3 at home due to a penalty kick, while your penalty taker had 97% shooting... Duuude! https://www.soccerproject.com/spnewl_ga ... season=120The very definition of doing it all right and karma just being a b*tch for no reason.
you can sometimes feel bad about these results.
On the other hand, a worse team sometimes steals the points in real football.

True, and i also think we usually tend to only remember the games where the bad luck was against us. In the long run, the game takes with one hand and gives back with the other.mr charlie wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 1:59 pmbah, bad luckandrei.g wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 11:28 am136-131 and a red card with only 4 cards in total and lost 2-3 at home due to a penalty kick, while your penalty taker had 97% shooting... Home game, no red cards, better LR +5, better team spirit, higher team aggression, missed penalty with a player at 97% shooting..
I'm still waiting for a game where a similar situation will end in my favor.

The current score is 0:2.
