I don't want him back, but thanks for asking :P. I have got myself another LF :P (bought him with 1 skill fully trained for only 1 million and now he's 21 years old and has got a BP of 69 :D).

every player has several basic skills, 2 main skills and 1 hidden skill. after they are fully trained they make the quality of the player (together with some other aspects such as aggresiveness, experience and age.

if a player has a high hidden skill he may be a better player after he is fully trained. the hidden skill lies for each player between 70 and 100% and does not change during his career.

I'm not new, but I have a question, how long is the period from when the manager can decide to sell a player to when SP automatically sells it to the highest bidder?

it varies between 3, 4 and 5 days, maybe more but i'm not sure about that. you can check it out simply by looking on the transfer market at the player you're interested about, for example:

Zdravko Dobric 19 11 Apr (14:00)-15 Apr (04:00) € 10,00 M

the red date represents the moment when as you said the manager can sell the player to whom he wishes, also can set an IBP (instant buy price, in case you don't know what it stands for  ) and the orange one represents the time when he will be automatically sold to the highest bidder.

you might wanna know also that the period from the moment when you put a player on the transfer list and the moment you can accept offers or set IBP is 3 days

Does the country of your staff/players affect their performance at all? For example, I saw a member speculating that perhaps his US youth coordinator was turning out lots of GKs because the US tends to do that.

Just wondering since I'm from Canada and have a bunch of Canadian players/staff. We're not exactly known for being a country of quality soccer. :D

hey, whatever you wanna know ask here on the forum and somebody will answer you ;) this way of learning is even better than having a mentor, in my opinion, because one person's advices can be wrong, but here you can receive second opinions :)
