Ladies and Gents,

i have been named the new Coordinator for Staff- and Playernames in SoccerProject, taking over PipkiN's responsibilities.

First of all i want to say a big Thank You to PipkiN, Hoevi, and everyone contributing so far!
Your work has brought SP to that greatly international level that it is right now!

I will try to get myself an overview of the current situation within the next days and weeks, and update this first post accordingly.
In the meantime, here is a quotation from the former Names Thread, managed by PipkiN (taken Feb. 3rd, 2009):

The names of Uzbekistan players are absolutely unrealistic. I could provide you with the names if you would like to change them.

Why are they unrealistic ? Any improvement is welcome ...

I think you forgot to put players and staff from Montenegro...?

i see you need staff names for Macedonia , i can help with that , and there is a lot of mistakes in macedonian player and staff names, ex. i have player in my team named Kujtim Bozijanov , Bozijanov is macedonian , Kujtim is albanian, there is albanian players in macedonia but names shouldn't be writen like this..

I also saw some mistakes in the portuguese names, can the list be corrected? I guess i won't mind to try.

Can we also add names to other countries ?

As far as i know we can add names for every country that is available in SP. Which is a lot actually.
Could you give examples? Which countries exactly do you have in mind?

I would like to add some names for belgium or the netherlands for example...
With some fresh player names from the belgian jupiler pro league..
