Defence Midfield Attack Calculations?

Post by jamiehutber »

I have tried to work out how this is calculated. Of course its based on player ratings, but I cannot work out the formula for this.

This formation would be quite over-powered, as you would manage to create strong teams with a low number of players in your roster. 3 GKs, 3 LBs, 3 RBs, 5 CBs, 5 CMs, 3 LFs, 5 CFs, 3 RFs = 30 players and you'd have a full roster - that's super-effective, compared to other formations, where you need at least 32-33 players or more to play without fear of injuries and suspensions. In some variations, you could even choose to go for 4 CBs and 4 CMs and add 1 strong RM and 1 strong LM and you'll have the same number of players in your roster, but with the flexibility to play 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 when needed AND at lower cost (since 1 RM + 1 LM cost significantly less than 1 CB + CM). Not to mention that having a full game-ready roster with only 30 players will leave you with 5 open spots in the team for transfers, which would be great for raising youth players or trading for extra cash. Very overpowered formation i think.
