You´ll get the money after the SP cup and after everything is updated just like last time.

A topic about the end of season so that people don't have to ask the same next week.

The 12th of January, competition will end. The SP Cup is still running, until next friday, the 20th of January. After the cup has ended, season 9 is over.

On saturday the 21st of January the new calendar and divisions will be known. Promoting and relegating teams will be put into their new division (to know these divisions, use the file in the FAQ's). The first 5 teams of every division will also receive the prize money they've won.

In the weekend of 21 and 22 January, you can't play any friendlies.

On monday the 22nd of January, the first games of season 10 will be played.

Sigh! I've got a problem to unbalanced leagues. And I'm having such a tough time that i'm considering throwing games so i get relegated this season and get promoted the next. That way, i'll get quite alot of money. Well, at least more than staying at 6th every season.

Say, for example, i'm in F1.

My league has 16 strong teams.

Every season, 2 teams of from E1 of class E calibre join us and 6 teams better than the average F1, F2 and F3 join us.

Every season, i'll manage a mid-table ranking (about 6th)

The better teams (the 3 better than me) will fight season-in and season-out for that 2 promotion spots with the 2 ex-E1 teams. Thus, we forcing the rest of us down. The 6 promoted teams come up and give us a good fight for the relegation avoid spots.

With our entire league having an average team rating of around 80, we have a better team than many teams in the B2 and B3 branches.

Can we have a random promotion or relegation system.

ie. F1 can get relegated to G123 or F1 can get promoted to E12. That way, the better teams won't be crowded under 1 branch.

I was thinking that if that happens the better teams stuck in the lower leagues would get a better chance of promotion the following season. This could make the game more balanced and attract more players.

P.S. I'm not from F1, it's just an example.

Because of the percentages that are used. It's a bit unfair indeed, but it makes it easier for a team from the G-division to earn money and buy better players. Otherwise the gap will become bigger and bigger.

Yeah, I think it's a bit daft too... I'm in the E leagues, and my aim for next season isn't promotion (which I believe I can achieve if I go all out) but to finish 3rd 2 seasons in a row because i'd get more money then if I got promoted then relegated.

I'd only get 10k less then if i won my division then finished 5th in D the following season

are you serious? the money you get at league ending is so small, it will never be so important (for me) to stay at lower divisons for that.

The prize is so low because there is way too much money in the game. With these prizes you can't explode up your money. But it's still better to promote (more visitors, more money for your (standard)advertisements, you'll mee more managers!)
