By "update for season # 31", I meant updating the title of this topic and the dates in the first post to let us know when season 31 will start. I hope the moderators will do that soon as the season is almost over now.

When logged into SP, in the upper right hand corner, you can always see where we are in the season. Season 30 [day 54 of 63]

You can also tell when the season ends because the last day is the Cup final, Friday Sep 4. So league match for season 31 will probably be on Monday the 7th.

A topic about the end of season so that people don't have to ask the same next week.

The 29th of October, the competition will end. The SP Cup is still running, until next friday, the 6th of November. That is also the last day of season 31.

On saturday the 7th of November, the new calendar and divisions will be known. Promoting and relegating teams will be put into their new division (to know these divisions, use the file in the FAQ's). The first 5 teams of every division will also receive the prize money they've won.

In the weekend of 7 and 8 November, you can't play any friendlies.

On monday 9 November, the first games of season 32 will be played.
1st in A : €3.000.000
2nd in A : €1.600.000
3rd in A : €1.000.000
4th in A : €600.000
5th in A : €400.000

3rd in H : €600.000

5th in H : €240.000

This is so funny, really, cause the top in H-Division is earning more then the 2nd place in A-Division, and overall the prize money is not calculate good at all, u should start from A-Division then go down 1st in A should get 6.5M and then down, cause A is A its the top league!!!

You are right, it's really strange. This system offers two possible super pricemoney taking strategies:

1st one is nearly for everybody - select and reach a division that You'll win for sure; win it; relegate next season; win it again; relegate; win it again...etc.
Control question: What will You get this way? Answer is: 50% more than a team which keeps third place in chosen division repeatedly.

2nd one is much tougher - start in H and win it; win G, then F... go as far as you can keep wining; if You'll recognize You are not going to get the title, give it up instantenously and relegate; relegate back to H; Are You back in H? Start it again!
Control question: What will You get this way? Answer is: The same 50% bonus + possible more money in total & more fun when going up and long time to rest when going back.

It's stupid and unrealistic, but it's the most effective way to earn as much pricemoney as possible.

I would like to bring this old topic back to life.

It is way too attractive to relegate on purpose just to get the prize money from the 1st place. The difference in prize money is HUGE between the 1st place of a lower division and the 2nd place of a higher division. Especially between the high divisions! It just can't be. I know it surely has some well-thought reasons and it's working so far so the mods/board people think it's safe. But there are 2 definitions of something that ''works''. :

1. People don't mass-leave the game, no mass-problems.
2. The game is more realistic and people don't relegate on purpose.

My defition of a prize money system that ''works'' is the 2nd one! How can the winner of A get 3m and the winner of C 2,6? Lets compare it to reality: Usually that would be a difference between the English Premiership prizemoney and the Spanish PrimeraDivision prizemoney (only an example). The difference between the English premierleague and the 3rd division in England would be a HUGE difference in prizemoney would it not?

I think we can softly gently try to figure a new prize money system without bringing dangerous risks/problems in the economic of SP.

A
3.000.000
2.160.000
1.560.000
1.160.000
960.000

B
2.375.000
1.728.000
1.170.000
798.000
612.000

C
2.165.000
1.456.000
940.000
596.000
424.000

D
1.985.000
1.280.000
800.000
480.000
320.000

E
1.835.000
1.160.000
710.000
410.000
260.000

F
1.685.000
1.080.000
660.000
380.000
240.000

G
1.535.000
1.000.000
610.000
350.000
220.000

H
1.385.000
920.000
560.000
320.000
200.000

The problem is that it was too attractive to win the 1st-place-money of a lower division. So we can't go around it: the 1ST PLACE money in lower divisions must be lower. That's what i build my calculations on: i did -415.000 to 1st place of all divisions from B to H (so not A). Then i did -40.000 to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place for divisions H to E (4 divisions).
Next is only for places 2 to 5:
Division D no difference,
Division C +80.000
Division B +240.000
Division A + 560.000
You see what i did? The difference from E to D is 40.000. The difference from D to C is 80.000. The difference from C to B is 160.000. And the difference from B to A is 320.000. So i kept doubling it up the higher you get. In real life it's also like that: on higher levels, the money increases dramatically very fast, while in the lower divisions it's not much of a difference. That's the theory also: Focus more on the higher divisions, so that THEY at least don't want to relegate on purpose. Look at the highest divisions in what i've written above: it's much less attractive to relegate! Let me write some hard facts in my calculations:

The difference between 1st in B and 2nd in A is now: 1.190.000
In my new system it would be: 215.000
Go ahead... calculate yourself. Check the difference between 3rd in A and 1st in B. It's also a HUGE difference! And the great thing about it all is: There is still a certain rythm, a certain logic.... it's not like the numbers are not in sync. The + and - from what it is now... to my new numbers... have a steady pattern too. So it is responsible, defendable and logical, with theory's to explain everything. I understand the champions get a lot less, but hey, they would still fight crazy-hard for it cause it's still a bigger difference than between 2nd and 3rd in every division! So i also managed to kept that the same. I also managed to not remove the 5th position's money in division H, the lowest of the lowest. It just got from 240.000 to 200.000. But that is a key-factor to the whole system for my calculations. I also managed to keep the big prize for division A the same: 3 million!

I hope SP will think about it, discuss it and you can ask me anything.

PS: It is a VERY low-loss for lower divisions, and better for higher divisons, but i'm from division F, going to E soon. So it's not like i'm a big fish trying to gain more money. Cause i'm still in the lower divsions myself! And that is what the whole fuss is about right? Bringing more difference between the divisions... That's what i'm trying to do here, without lower divisions losing much.

Some managers want a lot of money for players... I saw few players witch was sold with 100.000.000$ or more...
The price are very very high for good players.
But prize for ranks of leagues ar small...

I think it's better if you guys change the prize for league ranks and SP Cup rounds...

Don't expect too many changes to be made.
This game is as it is and already very fun to play.
Try to find your way within the existant and go from there.
It's not easy to start at first but the satisfaction all the greater when you'll accomplish your goals :)
