This idea would work if the automatic acceptance value was hidden from people who were bidding on the player. Then they'd have to bid like normal, not knowing how high it was going to go.robborover wrote:what about setting a price for an automatic sale. so you could say start bids at 500k but will accept 750k straightaway? that would help.

Rob not every player is equal...what you are saying has no sense
Indeed, blue's idea is a bit better. Even so i am not agree. It dosnt make such a evolution to the game. The fact is that not everybody like the actual system and it should be changed

even if it is as the Hattrick sistem it would be unfair foir the "ousiders". For example all player end ate the same hour, but in portugal that is to be slepping. If would be if a player was put in the market between a certain simulation, he must end in that simulation too....

1- Ja so what? What a cheap argument...if you are in belgium you are sleeping at the time of the match right? Com'on if you are sleeping you are sleeping is not the problem of SP, if you really want the player you wake up. Its like complaining about you can train your players at each simulation cuz you lose time sleeping.
2- If you put the players for 3,4,5,6,7 days on the transferlist, the selling time would be the same that when you put him right? Now tell if you can put players on the market at the simulation time...
3 - If the time is extended before a simulation, well the time is extended to the other simulation

oh yeah I stop sleep to buy a player, and I only live for this game! So if the players have other day simulations to end it could be a lot of easy for all the managers. But it as more sence with the old rules.rubens wrote:1- Ja so what? What a cheap argument...if you are in belgium you are sleeping at the time of the match right? Thats the point that you jsut buy players when you are online or that you stop the sleep to buy a player.
In all the games you have to be online! Maybe you dont live for this game but if you want to buy that special player you make the effort....my opinion

People arguing over how good my idea is. I'm flattered
Put the handbags down ladies...
The only real way forward for the transfer market is as we've suggested. It would minimise the above mentioned problems, but with it, no doubt, a whole new set will arise.
If we're looking for the perfect system, we're not likely to find it because one doesn't exist. There will always be problems, some will feel betrayed by the system, others will exploit it. That's the way things go.

Couldn't agree more. The transfer market has improved a lot since SP started, we've come to a point where we need to make choices. We've made a decision and are not going to change that overnight. If the future learns us we should make new changes, we will of course, but not at the moment. If we're looking for the perfect system, we're not likely to find it because one doesn't exist. I do not like it,
the selling manager has the option to put the starting price,
every bid should increase in a 5% the previous one,
and the player is in the market for 7 days already, ( which I already taugh was to much to wait for a player but it was ok)
and what this is doing is that you watch those players that are being left in there since probably thay are good since someone is bidding for them. The good players receive bids since the moment they get into the market, but are the ones that you believe can have a good development the ones you try to buy but is just getting more difficult.
i think that having a deadline to bid is the way to go, as someone mentioned if anone wants the bid to end just offer a high amount of money, then he can do just the same before the deadline
