Rather than restrictions would it not be better to simply offer guidelines. If someone tries to enter a high-value tournament, a simple warning would be all they needed. Something like;
"Are you sure you wish to enter?" if the price is over a certain limit.
"Are you sure you wish to enter?" if the price is over a certain limit.

That's a good idea.. no more trouble in that case.Blue wrote:Rather than restrictions would it not be better to simply offer guidelines. If someone tries to enter a high-value tournament, a simple warning would be all they needed. Something like;

Maybe make it so that, if an entry fee is more than 50% of what the player has in the bank, open a special warning message.

not a good ideea.if you are new on game you should know that your team is weak.in private FC the price in 50.000....not much in my opinion.in open FC is ok a big price.if your team is weak you should watch the oponnent teams and think if you can handle the competition.if you can't handle it you should not enter in that cup.why advertisment?if they are stupid to enter in a FC with 200.000 entering price let them burn themselfs and think twice when they enter in another tournament.
You should never assume that anyone knows anything. That's how problems start.unicool wrote:not a good ideea.if you are new on game you should know that your team is weak.in private FC the price in 50.000....not much in my opinion.in open FC is ok a big price.if your team is weak you should watch the oponnent teams and think if you can handle the competition.if you can't handle it you should not enter in that cup.why advertisment?if they are stupid to enter in a FC with 200.000 entering price let them burn themselfs and think twice when they enter in another tournament.
No new manager is going to instantly know what the finances are like in soccerproject. They may overspend because they think the money in the game is like in RL football, and assume they're going to make it up in their next few league games.
The more little warning messages we have amidst the finance aspects of the game, the quicker new managers will learn how it works. And the fewer mistakes some of us older managers are likely to make by accident.

after log in they have to do like this:help>>>quick start>>>rules>>>FAQ
after you read this you should know something,but because any new manager is to busy to read all that they don't know nothing.i was new on the game and i don't accept an invitation to a friendly cup or friendly game before i see the opponent and think if i can handle the game with my team.i readed for 3 days the rules and faq to understand the game.because of the managers who don't read all that apears on forum discussion like that or questions like"why a C team enter in my FC if i am in H" and everybody wants more and more warnings.let's make a rule that any new manager will be protected untill their teams are strong enough to beat a B or even an A team and after that they will lose the protection.
P.S:blue...i see that you are from england....think about that:of a league 2 team from your country reches on premier league after 3 seasons without making any transfers and the players are very weak for premier,would somebody warn them that in premier the matches will be very hard?or that the teams from premier league are very strong?answer:NO...they have to think that and take the right decision when they start something.is logicaly.
I'm talking about warning them, not giving them protection. Let them know that their actions have consequences. I'm not saying protect them from it. If they get the warning, they still have the option to ignore it. Just as everyone else will. This gives them no advantage, just the opportunity to learn without suffering from foolish mistakes.unicool wrote: after log in they have to do like this:help>>>quick start>>>rules>>>FAQ

PS. No, I'm from the UK. And if a club was having difficulty, first they would get advice, then they would act upon it. If a club needs to take out a loan to get new players, they'd consult a financial advisor first. If they needed new players, the manager would consult his assistant, the chairman, the scouts... Nobody would do anything without advice first.
