Plain Pages

Every time I compare SoccerProject to other similar games, I always feel the same. SP pages are too plain. The new layout is great in itself, however the majority of pages are plain and colourless.

I suggest jazzing some pages up. The 'watermarked' pitch on the homepages jazzed some of those pages up, so how about on each league rankings page having a watermarked version of that league's trophy in the background behind the team names (a big version of what will appear on team/manager overviews if won)? On the cup draws page, having a bigger watermarked version of the SP Cup trophy in the background. This shows everyone what they will be playing for, while adding a little colour to each page.

I think this would add some much needed colour to each page.

Examples: (poor quality trophies but real version would be faded 'watermarked' so teams/results would show up and proper quality from Sjarel)

WOW! Great responses so far. I really like my idea and feel SP would benefit graphically from it. SP itself is so much better and more complex than any other game of its kind, but graphically it is quite plain compared... I little splash of colour here and there could really make a big difference.

I think any graphic improvement would such as this would benefit SP immensely. A faded league/cup trophy behind the rankings/draws would really give you the feeling of 'that's what I'm aiming for'.

It's a good ideea. The design is already nice but this will make it nicer.
