What happens in real life is not always ethical. What I am for, is take all things that make us love football and leave out the rest.

According to the second definition, absolutely no. We do not cheat.
According to the first definition, I believe yes. Every time you buy a player that way, means that another player (a newbie) has falsely believed that his footballer's value is less than the real.

I don't think that Sjarel will reduce workload of his servers or time/data you spend there only because you want to...

We all like this game. This is why we play the game. This is why we argue over things like this. We would all like to see this community expand. I strongly believe that more players will be attracted if we efficiently reduce the time needed to make a team going. And transfers are vital for every team. In addition, this tool does not prevent you spending all the time you want searching for players.

Technically, the experienced have an advantage over the new players, but i don't believe it's cheating. Cheating would be if you had an extra tool or program over the rest of the managers, like another SPMT or something, that would be cheating. Our resources to buy or sell a player are all equal, it really depends on your ability and experience to choose the most appropriate players for your team. So in my eyes it's not cheating, it's all a matter of experience.

I'll have to quote myself again to make it clear where I'm heading.

Of course a newbie will be exposed to mistakes, but who hasn't made mistakes when they were newbies? I mean it happens in every game you're going to play. If you're a newbie, chances are, you are going to make mistakes a few times and maybe even fail. This applies to every existent game and in every type of game you play, including consoles and PC games, and every real life game you play as well.

I totally agree with you. As long as the moral filter will be available for all, then why not use it?

But then why not mask morale all together? Then one should seek past performances to check a player. That would reward time consuming the same way.

There is a slippery slope argument here. Since moral is available for us to see, then why not a moral filter?

To give an example CM series uses it.

All my friends (over 30 y.o) except one, when they understood the time they had to spend for this shit, they moved along ...

So you have to make the decision - to make success spend your time or no success ...

They dont see other potentials this game has, which makes really this game interesting ... not mindless brousing ... - they call it "thorough researching"
