This has been the reason for me not to complain really hard.
For me, nothing needs to be changed in the way the system works. I only argue about some imho exagerated influence of the team agression. A better team should be able to play a little bit safer without losing it's advantage. I have noticed that up to now, it is very difficult or even impossible to do so, even against teams that have a distinct lower class.

It was a big honor to beat you

I really can't complain, since the system works fine for me. I have one of the worst teams in the B-division if you look only at the individual quality of my players, however, I'll probably save my ass this season thanks to high agression :P
I've beaten some great teams this year and am really proud of it

I think it is realistic to beat a better team with higher agression.
The honest part of it is, if the referee has low agression, both teams can play 100% agression and finish with 11 players, in that case I will loose almost all games.

So if I play a whole season with referees with low agression, or Sjarel tempers the referees down, I'll be doomed
But that's a risk I was willing to take so far.

Now about this particular game: I agree, 4 points more in the ratings is very much, normally the better team should lead by 1 or 2 goals, and then try to bring the game home after the red card.
Normally the better quality team would succeed in bringing the points home.
Normally. Stuff happens in Soccer, and in a moody stadium with 40.000 howling fans it's never easy to win 8)

So in my eyes, the final score is not very strange.

But I have to agree on the ratings. 6 minutes of red card isn't much, and 100% agression vs 80% agression should have easily been levelled by your better players.
So I guess the influence of agression (and/or the influence of the red card) is a little bit too much :?

That's what I like about it... it's a way that an attentive manager who takes a risk can beat a guy who just collects a group of star quality players and expects to pound the league senseless with them.

But, yeah, the amount of cards isn't realistic. There is probably another way to get this effect with adjustments to strategy, rather than dealing out cards to everyone. At least we should have the option of individual players becoming more conservative for the rest of the match, once they have received a yellow card.
