the youth-players should have the same nationality as the manager. some staff for a particular country is often hard to find, and it takes ages for the staff to becoming better too!

It's okay for me. I also had to trade my Belgian coordinator because I already have so many Belgian players, but it's nice that you can choose where the new talent will come from. My new German coordinator will look for German talents now, with so much talent and so little German players I should be able to pick the best of the best

p.s. Now that I think about it, would it not have been better if it was the Scout instead of the Coordinator's nationality that matters?

It would be better, if from of those players what come was 60% according to nationality of manager , 25% according to nationality of coordinator and 15% would were on random choose of all nationality. It would be always surprise, who came and it would be more interesting

The rule should change a bit. Liverpool has a Spanish manager, we get some Spanish youth players, but also many British players ...

Than just hire a Czech youth coordinator. ;)
I am from Poland and I would like to have Polish juniors. But there are no Polish youth coordinators (I checked all 480 pages). What should I do?

It's a horrible rule. I think it was made because many owners from Belgium are registering as being from the Ivory Coast, and things like that, because 75% of the players in this game are from Belgium and those owners want to change that trend.

And that's fine, if individual owners want to do that. But why force that change on everyone?

Mostly I don't care where my players come from as long as they're good, but I do like the feeling that I am improving the reputation of American soccer within this game. Most owners from poorly represented countries have that same feeling.

I don't know... so many improvements that could be made to this game, and time is being wasted on this. It seems that the staff really wants to bring owners of many different nationalities into this game, but this change is actually going to drive away people who aren't from Belgium and Holland. I know I won't be quite as keen on the game if this change sticks around.

Why not just let people change their nationality whenever they feel like, so that youth players can come from wherever they want? Or let people choose a part of the world to scout, and youth players will come from that part of the world? If effort must be spent on this stuff, at least make it worthwhile.

If you can't find staff from the nationality you want, you can help us add yourcountry in this topic : http://forum.soccerproject.com/viewtopic.php?t=34006

I'll try to add some more foreign staff and remove some Belgian staff members.

It's nice to exchange youth coordinators though. If you have a coordinator of a certain nationality and you feel like you have too many players of that nationality you can always exchange coordinators with another manager.
Who wants my Austrian coordinator?
