Division Cups
did not thought a lot about this, it just came up.
is it hard to implement this?
select what divisions can subscribe when organizing a cup.
for example make a cup only for B,C,D ?
just an ideea. tell me what you think about it.

Re: Division Cups
bad ideea...if you want a H cup or A cup just make a private one and invite managers only from those divisions you want.if is open cup...then any team must have the right to join that cup.at3mlos wrote:did not thought a lot about this, it just came up.

There's been a lot of discussion about it.
No-sayers will say "if you want a Cup like that, organise a private Cup.
But that takes a lot of time and energy
Another negative is that excluding divisions isn't cool.
Everybody might organise cups only for their own league and lower. Teams from higher divisions will have a hard time joining cups that way, etcetera...
So I don't know. I'm for this option in exchange for some limitations, like (very) limited subscription fees.

Not the best sort of idea, though more official competitions would be great... for example, all real life clubs participate in at least 4 official tournaments... such as for AFC Bournemouth, they play in League 1, Johnstone's Paint Trophy, FA Cup, LGCP and more...
And Man U plays in Champions League, Premiership, Carling Cup (though knocked out), FA Cup, etc...
And what do we have? League and SP Cup. NOTHING ELSE!

Most of mainland Europe only plays 1 Cup besides the League.
I would be against Division Cups...

Of which only Johnstone's Paint/LDV Vans/Autoglass/Whatever is anything similar to a divisional cup.lee400 wrote:Not the best sort of idea, though more official competitions would be great... for example, all real life clubs participate in at least 4 official tournaments... such as for AFC Bournemouth, they play in League 1, Jonson Paint Trophy, FA Cup, LGCP and more..
And they play 38 or even 46 league games per season. Really, what's the point?unicool wrote:that's the reason that the english teams play a game in 2 or 3 january.
no it is not similar to a division cup - there are no premiership teams in Johnstone's Paint Trophy.. so its different!Zé da Silva wrote: Of which only Johnstone's Paint/LDV Vans/Autoglass/Whatever is anything similar to a divisional cup.

That's exactly the point. It's restricted to teams from Divisions One and Two. Like the League Cup is restricted to teams from... well, the Football League. So it's sort of "divisional"lee400 wrote:no it is not similar to a division cup - there are no premiership teams in Johnstone's Paint Trophy.. so its different!
