is there any way to have a smart youth centre?
what i mean in, a youth centre that thinks hey he has 5 sweepers, lets NOT give him another one.
or he plays 5-3-2, lets NOT give him a RF
id like one that thinks, he has a 31yo CM, with 2 backups (which were rubbish, tbh) lets give him another one.
i have since managed to buy a couple of decent CM youths
i have 6 sweepers, 4 from youth centre, 2 i bought.
i have 3 CB's all good players, but 1 is 29yo, hes going to retire soon, but the youth centre only churns out SW's, or LB's or RF's

if the best player in the youth center is a RF and you don't play with RF, what do you want them to do???? retire him??? the youth center gives you the best player they have there.

Of course, you can always sell the youths you don't want and buy players from positions you need.

i can appreciate that, but i mean, come on i dont need a sweeper, nor can i sell him even though he has a hidden skill of 94, and the only maxed skill is 97% but nobody will buy him.
i know its luck of the draw.
would it be worth implementing a youth coach that specialises. (attack or defence) where the probability of having a defensive position (GK, LB, CB, SW, RB) or an attacking one (RM, CM, LM, RF, CF, LF)) is higher.#
so if i had a 100% attacking youth coach, i would recieve a attacking player 75% of the time and a defensive player 25% of the time

Interesting idea. However, everyone would set this to CM as they are the most valuable.
There could be a prority system whereby you select a postition for the youth centre to train but the length of thime it takes to produce this player depends on his position. e.g. Hyper modern youth centre- SW 15 days , CM 45 days. Just a thought

And then, Cbs, CMs and CFs would become worthless!

it all comes down to having that useless SW..!
SW is the only player that most teams donot want and hard to get rid of..
i think it is time SP did something about the SW....

SW are amazingly usefull players if you know how and when to use them. and most managers don't
