Other way of transfers

Wouldn't it be better for the clubs that their is a value, that is visible
(shown as the amount of money) on players.
For instance you want to sell a player and you want a price around
the value of the player. That you can get the player around that price.
Also that managers would have the ability if they want to sell a player
what biddings are acceptable and other that aren't. You could then
ask to the interested managers to increase their bid.
If you accept one offer (or more) than the other club would
propose a contract to the player.
I really think that is more like it is in reality.
