				Hello,
I think this is very good game, and you can spend a lot of your time on it.
STARRING AT YOUR DISPLAY, but this white background is killing me and my eyes.
I'm playing OGame too, if you heard for it...
There you have Settings and you can chose any skin you want to:
white
black
blue
green
red
bla bla
I think that considering to make skin chooser would be great idea

I thought a friend of PipKin was working on other skins.
Pipkin, do you have an update for us?

He quit playing SP and inventing some new design, because almost every manager got used to new template ..

I guess we'll have to wait till we get some managers who are really good with this Skin-thing. I see it on lots of sites though, so there must be enough people who know about this

				Well, I've just discovered
Stylish, a Firefox add-on which allows customization of a site's appearance. With it, you can make SP run on a css you designed instead of the
default one. I wouldn't say I'm "really good with this skin-thing", but I have created
one which works just fine. If you're familiar with css-scripting you may create your own now.

Looks very nice. You have proven it's possible to create your own skins, I guess it's now a matetr of finding someone who creates a skin and makes it publicly available.

No, please. Either make it user-customizable or leave it as it is.
I'd hate to have a new default skin as they always tend to be something that looks fancy at first glance, but becomes heavy on the eyes later.
You cannot fix what isn't broken!

Imo Ze's skin is good on the eyes, albeit I've only seen the one page. There should be darker skins available as viewing the white page at night time can be strenuous on your eyes, whereas viewing, say, a black background is very easy on the eyes.

				I disagree most absolutely.
I've tried a few sites that went exactly from blue on white to grey on black or red on black.
It becomes a much more sinister affair to look into a black screen in the long run. Brightness is better for fatigue. And we're spending hours on this game, right? So the long run effect is what should have top priority IMO - not BANG-WOW eye candy.

Obviously new skins will be optional.

And this Stylish-thing from Zé does not support IE if I read it well on the website, so that doesn't help most of the managers

It would not be suitable to offer it on the SP-site, because it's only for Firefox...
