I think he means that A1 manager should play also with A2 and A3 managers to become the best.
However, I find the top competition hard enough to get into, so there is no additional division(s) needed.

i do not mean for teams from one division to play against teams from other divisions. i am speaking of brand new divisions

current
A
3 Bs
9 Cs
27 Ds
and so on

my idea
A
A1
A2
A3
3 Bs
9 Cs
27 Ds
and so on

teams total in ABC now: 208
my idea- total teams in ABC: [+48] 256

...just let me summon my english...

there are
2187 H-divisions;
729 G-divisions;
243 F-divisions;
81 E-divisions;
27 D-divisions;
9 C-divisions;
3 B-divisions;
[my idea comes here
1 A3 division 16 teams;
1 A2 division 16 teams;
1 A1 division 16 teams;]

1 A-division;

i don't understand why would you want to put another division between A and B...it is hard enough to reach A as it is....so let's keep it :wink:

It's very clear now.

But I can't see what would be good about it.
If you do that, it will be much much harder to get into the highest division.
I think the 6 teams down / 3*2 teams up system as it is now works great, it makes sure good teams can promote pretty fast and bad teams go down.
I'm playing some other managers, and no manager has this as easy and well-done as SoccerProject 8)

you are wright. perhaps my idea is not good for now. jut there are few strog teams, and then - gap. my idea now whoud have "swamped" the top, not allowing goot teams to go up.

btw discussing stupid ideas may also help... one day. how about to rename this topic, so for people to post similar "ideas" here, instead in a thousand new topics?

Not necessary I think. In a few days or weeks, this topic will go down to page 2 automatically, and whenever someone comes up with a similar idea, we will discuss it from scratch :wink:

But keep the ideas coming, I always like to read what people come up with :D

I thought he was suggesting national divisions, which would be an interesting idea.

I.e. that anything below for example E or something would be split up in national F-H divisions. Winners of the national F-divisions would promote to the international E and the rest is the same.

There's no actual difference to how it works now, but it would give an interesting angle by setting international competition as a goal for managers in itself.

It won't work untill there's some check up on managers' nationality, though. Otherwise we would suddenly see a lot of managers from Antarctica ;)

Though that would mean that we would have a Czech Z Division (if not more) while nations like Fiji or something would never even fill their F.

changing the competitions is almost impossible, this way is the best way. the only thing i would change is that in stead of 6 teams who relegate and two who goes up. i would making competitions with 20 teams where three promote and six relegate. every class has three lower divisions behind him ( teams from B1,B2,B3 are going to a) so i would change it into two teams (B1, B going to a)

I would agree to that. It seems the options to get promoted are a bit tight right now. At least in the lower divisions 3 promotions might be good, but it's probably too complicated wrt. the number of divisions required.
