Why do offer managers to players who are listed for free transfer always that unrealistic contracts? It really destroys some good players because when they want to sell him, nobody wants to buy that player because he's asking to much money on their contract.
Couldn't that be reset to the normal asking demands?
Than there will be more interested managers in those players.

in real life, if you were being paid let say... 50k a year, and then you were offered a job for 10k a year, would you accept it? no, its just how normal people think...
people offer 'unrealistic' contracts because otherwise, they don't get the player. I once even offered a house, a car, 20000 wage, 30000 vic bonus and 5,000,000 sign bonus for an 87%, and even that wasn't enough to secure the player. ie someone offered even higher.

Read this whole topic, especially what manager bunicutzu has to say. I hope this explains things. There's a penalty to pay for free transfers, and so there should be, but some managers have the skill to use it to their advantage.
