Cup Match
i have a small suggestion.
the cup match should be played without home advantage and at the team with the larger stadium. with this feature i think the smaller teams would have a reason to play in the cup and win some games.....

I agree.
When you play a cup, you arrive to small stadium on away games (mostly, with H,G teams), you have a huge loss of money.
The idea which kennyanu presents has more +:
- no home advantage - just a power of team will influence the result
- nice income - team having bigger stadium (let's say better team or team from much higer division) won't have such a loss of money and the smaller team (H,G) will have nice financial injection by sharing 50% tickets (for example 150k when arriving on 20k stadium).
I go in the cup on the field of FC team, which ended yesterday as human team. I will have insane loss on players' salary, so I agree with kenny (even he defeated me today in the league)

How is home advantage in SP Cup determined? Is it random?
I think it's realistic the way it is now-- in the FA Cup, for example, the lower division teams get their chance to host one of the big clubs and they ought to have home field advantage. Sure the two teams won't get as much gate receipts, but that's realistic.
A premier league side playing in a 10,000 capacity 3rd division stadium isn't going to make very much money, either.

but if you play on my ground you would have benefit 130k(more or less 40k). what do you prefer?
and i asked the home ground should not be a advantage so the lower teams should have a small advantage.

And what do you want us to say? The idea sounds good, I didn't heard anyone opposing it. So I don't really know how can we support it because there is noone to argue against.cruxify wrote:You're a pretty prominent figure within the SP community (at least I assume so) so why don't you ask some of the Romanian community to post and back this idea up. With a lot of support coming from the Romanian community I'm sure it would increase chances of it coming to fruition.
