Putting money on the bank/stocks

Post by Snaak »

A feature that exists today is that you can borrow money from the bank.
I'd like a feature that would allow you to put money on the bank/buy stocks, to make more money. That is realistic and not very hard to implement.

What about create a game inside a game?

A stock market where you don't use your soccer money, but independent money, and you don't take any advantage to you team.
You could buy / sell stocks from other teams but not from yours. Your team only goes to stock market if you what, and you could appreciate the up and down value of your team.
This don't bring advantages for you as a manager, but if you want you could play in the soccerproject stock market... just for fun.

If you don't like the idea to have a game inside a game, it could be two different games, but with relation between them (a stock market game about soccerproject teams).

I know is a crazy idea, but is original (I think) 8)

I used to agree with you - I had millions of dollars in the 'bank', it wasn't earning any money for me, and I wanted a way to earn some sort of a return on it. Then, I realized that SoccerProject already contains an investment function - the transfer market.

Let's say that you want to earn 5% per season on the funds in your bank. Buy a player, train him for two seasons, then sell him for 10% more than you bought him for....All the function of an investment vehicle, none of the extra coding, AND you have the chance of finding that rare gem (a cheap player who turns into a star)!

The transfer market is significantly more exciting than any sort of 'bank' simulation...:-)

Yeah, a stock market would be brilliant.

Just look at the current financial crisis and bankrupts.

Just what we need to take out a lot of money from the game :P
