TopGoalie / Cleansheets

I like the fact that we have topscorers for each division at the end of the season. Why not implement "topkeepers" as well? Use the same principle as topscoring. Most cleansheets at the end of season wins goalie the title for that specific division. How many want this? I don't think it's hard to implement. Please vote

If cleansheets do not apply, make it so that the keeper with least goals/game is awarded the topgoalie.

A ranking for keepers can be misleading. Imagine a goalie who played one match in the league without conseading a single goal. Will he be better than one that played all matches but had 5 goals? Acconding to the statistics,no. In fact however, the performance of the second keeper is great.

I thought someone will mention that. Those cases are very rare and only apply to verry aggressive GKs. Even so, having thought about it myself, this is the best solution that I came up with:

To qualify for it have a requirement of minimum 15 games/goalie (which means he must play at least half of the season) meaning this feature will start registering data at begining of season but post it after 15 games.

If you are a hardcore soccer fan, you WANT to know topscorers as much as you want to know who did best as a keeper in the same division.

why not do it on a points system?

5 points for playing a game, 15 points for a clean sheet, -1 point for conceding a goal.

i just randomly assigned them points, but its a possibility.

I think this suggestion - while nice - isn't needed.

There are bigger fish to catch.

And what about making a calculation including the matches and the goals he conseaded.
For example this way:
A goalie played 20 matches in which he conseaded 12 goals so his 'goalcoefficient' (GC) is
12/20 = 0.6
in other words - goals divided by matches
In fact, it's the number of goals per match.
Not easy? :)

they have this feature already in the Romanian Liga 1:

http://www.gsp.ro/widget/index-3.html

at the bottom click on the soccerball where it says "marcatori" then find "portari" and you'll see what I'm talking about. it's a really cool feature. please take it into consideration.
