why can't there be a cup for
A,B
C,D
E,F
G,H

then more players can win a cup and would it be more fun.
after those cups are done you can let all winning team play against each other

And the current SP Cup have made some changes so that it can be submitted all teams (playing some of the tour 2) and have put in 2 rounds on Saturday ...
program is so loaded, the implementation of what you have proposed would give it over his head, and I do not think that the server can be loaded with other simulations ..
