How about making substitution during the game? I think simulation of each game should be divided into two parts. i.e. 45 minutes each
so that we could make substitution.
For e.g. If we are leading by 3-0 at half time, we could preserve our important players for next game and give chance to new one. This will make this game more realistic and fun.
Hope this idea is taken into consideration.
