I took a look at SPMT's stadium calculator. If I play vs a team ranked 1 with 100% fan satisfaction, earnings are 292,000. With 10% fan satisfaction earnings are 35,000.

Anyone who has had a losing streak knows that fan satisfaction falls sharply. Its a very poor strategy to lose matches in this game, punishment is servere. LIke a poster above wrote, making it harsher would only make managers scared to promote and in many cases make it profitable to stay down on purpose.

I understand the problem. I don't think, it is a good solution.
The real problem is caused by the fact that the manager everything decides.
Do we want to win this game? Even if the players would be able to win it, he can decide to loose.

Deciding to lose the game on a organized base, loosing every game is financially very lucrative for the manager ( he don’t need to pay his players ) .
In real life I don’t think players would accept, to be paid only on the base of winning when they know they will loose every time.

So for me the problem results in the contracts which are made.
A first good decision by Sjarel was made to extend the contract to at least 30 days before it can be modified.
It should be impossible to make a contract with 0€ salary and X€ victory bonus. If I intent to loose I change every contract to it. I think real players would not accept it.
So the contracts made for 1, 2 or 3 seasons should be kept without being able to change the contract.
It’s only the manager who can change the contract, never the player himself. So this is an other reason to stick to the signed contract.

Sorry for my English.

Are we talking about cartoon footbal, or some time pass soccer game. Guys this is soccer simulater and give an one real world league where these rules are used...? If you relegate with less points then negetive points. And why you are not talking about promotion and positive points.

Forget it. BAD IDEA. Anything make sense i wold appreciate, but this one scrap it.

In Romania this threshold exists. The reason is that team already mathematically relegated don't have any motivation. In SP there is even a more stringent need for this, as already-relegated teams usually play their third squad in order to save money.

stupid idea and we are not in romania ............ thanks god we arent

Indeed, thank God you aren't. There are enough idiots in Romania as it is.
