international teams
as much as you might not agree with me i reckon that we should have a soccer project world cup when the best players from all the countries in the game get selected to play for there country and the clubs they come from should get some money for letting them play in the world cup its just a thought but it might be good and also to have the coach's i reckon the best coach's in the game should get selected to coach these world clubs. please tell me your views... cheers

Lots and lots of discussion on international.
Here's my input on the idea.
1. Leave it 2-3 seasons before implementing any kind of international scene, because by then there'll be many more non Belgian players -> more competitive.
2. The highest ranked manager of a country is automatically national team coach, but he can choose to resign the rights if he wants, and it will go to the next highest ranked manager.
3. Players are automatically chosen based on GR. The best ranked are called up, and their managers are notified. They play on Saturdays. If a player's fitness is below 75%, the manager of his club can opt to withdraw him.
OR
3. National team manager can browse and pick the squad himself.
4. Basically there are just groups of national teams, the best qualify for World Cup which happens every 2 seasons in SP (1 year qualifying, 1 year World Cup) and so on.
Having said all that, I really think we should forget about national teams for the time being. There are many other things we can do instead...

but "3. National team manager can browse and pick the squad himself." wont that manager select only his own team for national games?

If you were the Belgian coach, should you know which players you have to choose?? I don't... There are just too many excellent players...Yves004 wrote:The coach should be able to decide who to select. You might want to opt for players who are a bit younger or players with less agression in a certain game. Maybe you need players with more passing or players with more defensive skills in midfield to beat a certain opponent ...

thats when maybe the scout should inform his coach of players around all the clubs telling him which players are good , that way the scout is really doing something good in this game.

In SPFA there a great tool that a Belgian NTC could use: the player ranking. The coaches from other counrties will have more problems but searching for the right players is fun too. Maybe a NTC could even use assistants to help find players.
But we don't even know yet if they want to implement this or not.
