transfer system

A remaining problem with the transfer system as it is applied today is the following one:
If I make a bid tonight , and go off to work tomorrow ( where I have no internet ), it has happened several times that I've been overbid during the day, and the manager has accepted the offer before I get home....so gone the change of contracting the player, but worse : you can't make another bid on another player if your + 35 players...
I don't really see a solution other than that a manager who's missed for example two incoming transfers, would receive 1 new chance on the transfermarked, regardless of the number of players on his team....
But I do understand that this needs a lot of work, and a lot of logging of data, which may not be possible at this time...
Still, I guess it's worth thinking about, or not ?
