winning by forfeit but still paying for players salaries

when we win by a forfeit we still have to pay for the players wages. dont you think we should change that because the players didn't even play?

you still get your ticket money from the fans, it's logic to pay your players

I'm not sure but I believe this was changed. When you play against a FC Team you have to pay the wages of your players but you don't receive ticket money.

i think paying for wages, tv rights, ticket sales etc should be abandoned all together because it doesn't seem realistic at all. what fan would buy tickets if the match was forfeited and would tv company would pay for a no-show match.
