Shouldn't a team perform better when they can understand each other? because If you have a team with 20 different nationalities they can't communicate... (I would say)

I don't think that's a good idea :wink:
And it is possible for different nationalities in a team to play good.
Look irl at Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus
The players all learn languages so I guess there's no problem :wink:

Very nice thinking, this is the most original idea I've ever heard. :D

But as Matt already said, players can learn languages.
So it's realistic enough now. :)

yeah, but they do have to [b]LEARN[/b] the languages... because in the dutch eredivie (leugue) there are teams like that who do have problems with it...

I have to agree. As it is over half of the world's population speaks English, and over a billion people worldwide are learning it annually (do some research into it, you'll see it's true :wink: ). And most people learn it from childhood, so they'd already know it before starting a career in football. There's no point in complicating things.
