I thought that a useful feature, especially for managers who can't log on for various reasons, would be a feature with which you could inform your Assistant Manager about the types of formation you would like to use for the different types of game.

For example, if you couldn't set the team for the various types of game:

Selection A for League Matches
Selection B for Cup
Selection C for FrC
Selection D for Fr.

Of course this feature would only work for SPFA members since they're the only ones able to set multiple lineups, but I thought it would be a helpful feature.

This way, if you've got a friendly and you're unable to set your lineup, the Assistant won't field your best players if you wanted your second or third squad fielding.

yeh i like it good idea. i cant always log on for matches in the league, so would be good if it automatically chose a squad for different types of games.

yeah if you cant set the team in team the assistant auto picks selectionb for you nice idea

what does the assistant manager do anyways?

he gets his wages, nothing more

And there are occasions where you would have preferred the B,C or D team to be fielded, right?

Of course, but also another players;)

He doesn't always field the best players. A 85% CM will perform better at the RM than a 50% RM, but your assistant will play the poor RM.

But that will mean your best RM is 50% because he puts the best player there.

Even so, if the 50% isnt a sub (when those 5 fields are full) he wont play

It's the best RM, but not the best player to play at that position.

But we're not talking about individual players here, we're talking about telling the Assistant which lineup to field in the event that the manager hasn't already specified it. I could tell him to field my a team in league matches should I not be able to do it myself, and at the same time to field my C team in friendlies. At the moment he'd just play my best players, which isn't necessarily what I want to happen.

well, I was a bit away for three days, my main RF got injured during training and the assistant put the 3rd worst of total 4 other RF subs, all had 100% fitness only different moral. he'll get the axe that dummy
