Separate Ratings

I'm a fan of the FIFA 06 video game, and on it for the teams there are 3 different ratings. One for attack, another for midfield, and one more for defense. On the team page here in soccerproject, there is only one rating, the overall rating of every single player. Could the 3 separate ratings be implemented here, so instead of one bar for every single player there be a 3 bars, one for defense players, another for midfield players, and the other for the forward players.

Wouldn't that take up to much space?
The information is specific if you read all the seperate skills.

too much space? It's only 2 little bars.
and I know that, I just like fifa 06 and thought it'd be kinda neat.

i think it would probably be fairly straightforward. but you would need to add 3 more fields (to what im predicting is a mysql database - seeing as it's php powered). this could take time depending on the coding.
i think i would be better to change the overall team rating as this is msisleading. a couple of youth players can affect it by as much as 5%. however, the team could still be strong except for the youths. i'd prefer it if they changed that instead.

You would have an overall rating + 3 seperate Atk, Def, Mid ones, so 4 in total.
I can see where you are coming from but for me I don't look at my defence as a collective. I judge each position individually.

Oh then i'd be against it. I like to see how good my opposition are overall, then i go in and see how many players above 80 they have.
