I was going to replace each of my staff with American ones, and I was checking the rules to see what impact this would have on my team as I made the changes.

Anyway, this is what it currently says in the rules about the YC:

Youth coordinator: He is responsible for the training of your youth prospects. The better your youth coordinator is, the more youth players will make it into the first team.

It might be good to add that it controls the nationality now, too.

don't get it, whats the point if you have american coaches or australian or belgian its not like they are going to be better, else it would be bit unfair

and something else.. if nationalies would make difference you shouldnt take american coaches cause usa s*cks in football

The point is that the nationality of your co-ordinator is what determines the nationality of your youth players. So if I don't have a USA coach, then all of my players will be from somewhere else other than the USA.

Maybe so... but I've looked over your squad (liver-pool?), and I'd light your team up.

Also the Belgian national team IRL wouldn't be good enough to beat the rest of the world put together, like it would in SP... but ultimately this is just a game.

really, i don't see what yuo want. your youth should be american cause you are american but your team exists out of belgian players. if you want to have other nationalities buy them :s dont get it y all the players here want different nationalities. not like they are better. OK in my team my top my best player and my 3th best player are from a different country but i dont look at their country to see if i buy them.

It's just nice to have players with names from my own country, because I can identify myself with them better. They won't be better or worse than players from other countries, so why not get players from a country you like?

Nes... the point is, it doesn't matter if this isn't important to some players, because it is important to some others. It was important enough that the team went in and changed some code to implement a rule about where your players come from. It's important enough that a few players have come on here and asked why their new players are Belgian or whatever.

Anyway, isn't the point of a 'rules' section to list what the rules are? If it's not going to list ones that you regard as unimportant, then it should be called the 'important rules' section.

I don't know what you think I'm asking for, but my 'change' only requires adding about a line of text to the rules section. I just thought it would be a nice thing to document, is all.
