Silver trophy (or medal) for 2nd place in division

There was such a suggestion on the czech phorum. What about the possibillity to reach the silver trophy for a team, that finishes the season on 2nd place in division. It could look like this:

What do you think??

Do not flood the forum with stupid posts like "very good idea". Form a post for the discusion created basically on your own mind or post nothing, maybe someone would like to say yes/no to this idea and why.. Posts like "good" "good idea" or something else should be deleted..

I think this is a great ideea, because when people promote from 2nd place they don't get a trofee, but these silver trofee will make a smile on their face.
I should have one.

It doesn't really happen IRL (players only recieve silver medals in cup finals), so I'm not for it.

You are right, but SP need's to be diferent from games, competitions.

If we make a questionary we will all see the result. I think it will be way much more positive for introducing a silver cup for 2nd place.

Also keep in mind that the trophy that the winner of the SocceProject-Cup gets a silver-grey cup. Imo a team that doesn't finish first, doens't get a trophy. It's not because you, being second placed after 30 games, promote together with the champion, that you should get a trophy.

Trophy was only suggestion, I think that silver medal in stead of trophy would be also OK. The main point is, that the second team gets something to show, that he was successful in the season.

definitely. at the moment it is a bit of a let-down when you finish 2nd as you don't get a trophy. i think this is a really good idea.
