That's not really an argument as the following states also have national teams:
  • Chechnya
  • Easter Island
  • Maasai
  • Northern Cyprus
  • Occitania
  • Rijeka
  • Rom
  • Sápmi
  • Saugeais
  • Sealand
  • Somaliland
  • South Lower Saxony
  • South Moluccas
  • Southern Cameroon
  • West Papua
  • Zanzibar
If you want Tibet just because they have a national team all the others must be included.
You make this list, but you forgot the team Western Sahara. Team Wester Sahara is on SP on 99. place.

They aren't affiliated by FIFA or Confederation of African Football, and therefore cannot compete for the FIFA World Cup or African Cup of Nations.

If is there WS, I want Tibet :)

No, I didn't. I just made a list of NF teams that are not on SP.

FYI, I've just checked and Zanzibar are a member of CAF.

Just like Chagos, Greenland, Monaco and Western Sahara...

The point is: a national team does not give you the right to appear on SP.

Why could be Gibraltar on sp? It is part of Great Britain.
And why there are Hongkong and Macau? Also parts of China.
Tibet has got everything as others states (flag, anthem, national team, ...), but their goverment is in exile because China occupy their land.

IMHO Tibet should be on Soccerproject

If it was belgium then i'm sure it'd be on in a shot but as there isn't a large enough backing then the powers that be are reluctant to change anything.

The England, Scotland, Wales & NI thing has been debated and the only real logical explanation as to why it isn't on there is the silly little ISO code.

You have to draw the line somewhere but it just seems strange not to accept that a country exists because it doesn't have a code.

Actually, the code is TL.

But yes, Timor-Leste should be represented in SP.
EDIT: ...as Saint-Helena

tibet should join our crusade to get the uk divided up. we're getting the same excuses for not having england, scotland, wales, and northern ireland.
