I would like to see prize money awarded for every round, like in real cup competitions (ie. the FA Cup). Starting off small, but for every round you progress through, you should be awarded round money. This would make the cup more important for lower league teams to gain money from.

If a team gets a BYE in the first round then they still get the round winners money. This compensates for the loss of gate receipt money from what would have been a first round match.

Round 1 Winners: €10000
Round 2 Winners: €20000
Round 3 Winners: €25000
Round 4 Winners: €30000
Round 5 Winners: €35000
Round 6 Winners: €40000
Round 7 Winners: €45000
Round 8 Winners: €50000
Round 9 Winners: €55000
Round 10 Winners: €60000
Round 11 Winners: €70000
Round 12 Winners: €90000
Round 13 Winners: €100000
Quarter-Finalists: €150000
Semi-Finalists: €250000
Final Winner: €1000000
Final Loser: €500000

Yeah we need prize money, the only reason why i still put my best players when in the cup is to get them more experience.

Money would motivate more managers to put their top team and at least get something more than experience for the players.
