how about players requesting to be transfer listed if their moral drops below a certain number or if they are continually played out of position?
and what about signing players on precontract agreements? (when their contract is running out with their current club you should be able to offer them a better contract than they are on to entice them join your club)

that sounds realistic, but i don't want any of my players to sign secretly for another club.

It could be a list of players whose contracts are expiring (Bosman transfers) and then you negotiate with the player.
It would be FAIR if the team who owns the player is notified so that they have the opportunity to offer him an extended contract rather than see him leave for free without offering him the chance to stay.

it is that opportunity! when there are only 20 days left from the contract the manager receives a message telling him that. also when there are 10 days left and when there are 5 days left.It would be FAIR if the team who owns the player is notified so that they have the opportunity to offer him an extended contract rather than see him leave for free without offering him the chance to stay.
regarding the player contract ... it's not normal to know the terms of it. even if it expires or already expired. it's an individual contract so confidential. i wouldn't want the other teams to know what is my contract policy. it's my strategy and i don't want to make it public ...

Re: player power
I like this. It's simple and does not change the game, yet adds some personality to the players.masta_2009 wrote:how about players requesting to be transfer listed if their moral drops below a certain number or if they are continually played out of position?
This is tricky. Managers would go to the best players in the A-division and offer ridiculous salaries. The A-manager would have to offer even more ridiculous salaries to keep them after the contracts expire.masta_2009 wrote:and what about signing players on precontract agreements? This way he will have to compete financially with 40.000 other managers, for each and every one of his players. It will be impossible to keep a team together. So no, unless there is a solution for that, I vote against.

Re: player power
Here's an idea: If it is a player the A manager would like to keep, it has to be a very good player. And IRL, a very good player wouldn't like to go to a club some divisions below.sljivovica wrote:This is tricky. Managers would go to the best players in the A-division and offer ridiculous salaries. So we could build on that personality idea, and change the transfer system to make it more difficult for a player to get transferred to a lowly club.
