Glad you like it, I think it's a really great idea and would love to see it implemented.
Days would probably be better than weeks yes, good point. As for the cost, that's not such an important point. I'd say something affordable to all clubs but should also reflect the fact it's just a "fun" feature and there are no real gains from it that make it worthwhile spending that much money on.
