I'm hoping the last 8 will be:

Spain
Brasil
Holland(ofcourse i hope)
France
Germany
Argentina
Portugal
Italy

That way it would be a very unpredictable final. Also i think they have the most chance due to the games they have played in history.

Kind of hard to say, actually. The team has just a handfull of players that I would rank 1 to 2 stars (on a 1 to 5 international scale). Ufortunately some of them have minor injuries while others have been benched for a while by an erratic coach in their club (perhaps you know Daniel Jensen from Werder and Søren Larsen from Duisburg).

So it really depends if those few good men are able and fit to play. If they do, Denmark should qualify from first round. If they don't, Denmark may have to go home with just 2 points.

@Brocolli:
Sure, Jensen is indeed a good player (i would guess he has a SP-rating of 70 or so), but I think (matter of taste?) it is justified he is not a first eleven at Werder Bremen (hehe, remember i live in germany and follow Bundesliga on a daily base)...

I hope for you and all great danish people that you may hold the worldcup fever as long as possible... I am looking forward to it!!!

Al-Qaeda threatens to conduct terror against the dutch-danish match because of the past Muhammed-drawings.

Or at least that's what the iraqui police says after having interrogated a suspected terrorist...

I have a feeling though, that he may also have 'admitted' a series of other terror acts, including the Titanic...

Yeah i've heared the same, but you'll never know untill it happens. If it depends on those terrorists, you can better lock yourself into your home.

Australia - Denmark: 1-0. Denmark hade ONE shot at goal the entire match!

Netherlands - Ghana: 4-1. Nehterlands undefeated in 18 games.

Looks like a slaughter in the opening match of Netherlands-Denmark.

Sneijder scored a wonderful goal in that match! Also pitty van der Vaart didnt scored that 3/4 pitch chip. Wouldve been a awesome one.

I do think Australia is a good team, last cup they also did well. So i think Denmark stands a chance. Especially when you think Ghana was very defending in that match. They were playing 4-4-1(i think) but it looked like 8-1-0  Which means ur ready to be slaughtered.

European teams rarely won an World Cup outside Europe. Plus, weather in South Africa is really strange these days and teams from the Southern emisphere will have an extra-advantage. I could bet that there will not be more than 1 European team in the semi-finals.
