Group stage draw has just been published in the forum - see the first post of this topic (as usual, you will find all updates there).

We started 10th season with 18 teams from 8 different countries - as usual in last seasons, the majority comes from Belgium (4) and Czech republic (3). In the group stage we will have representation from 7 countries, as the only Austrian team FK Kabelwerk finished their 6th appearance already in Qualification round.
Looking at the list of remaining 16 teams, we have only 5 new teams who will play the competition for the first time - fc centru calarasi (ROM), arsportas (LIT), K.S.K Beveren (BEL), smoking athlete and 1.FC Olbramovice (both CZE).
On the other hand we have FC Remedy - only team that appeared in all 10 seasons, and current lead of the Historical ranking. Last year's winner - rogiboys - plays their 6th season. Primisimo FC is returning back after missing the last season (5th appearance in total) - in previous seasons they got 3 medals (1x silver, 2x bronz) and their worst result is 4th place. AquaAzzurri plays also their 5th season, but their biggest success is 4th place from the very first season. After that they're just waiting for any bigger success here.
The biggest favorite of this season will be (similarly to last one) Chelsea champion. Latest winner of A-division will play their 4th season and they're still waiting for the title. They already have two silver medals, now they will try again to get the gold one.

First round completed.
The highest quality games could be seen in group D where all teams played at least 142. Sparta Palmeiras shown the best performance of the round - 147 - and won their opening game against FC Komunisti. The other game finished with a small surprise - S.S. Wallachs lost their home game against FC Primisimo 0:1 despite the fact that they played a little better than their opponent (145 - 143). Czech team came to Romania with a very defensive strategy and plus on top, their goalkeeper saved a penalty in 67' min. Just a while after that, Karakaya scored a winning goal.

Champion of the last season started the season with a loss - rogiboys lost their home against U.C. SAMPDORIA 1:2 (140 - 143). The other game of group C finished with the same result. smoking athlete started their SPCL journey with an important away victory (performance 137), but still, if they want to fight for Quarterfinals, they will need to play a little better against the two favorites of this group.

FC Remedy started their 10th appearance with a 1:0 victory against lesbuffalos. Dutch team is the only team of group A who played over 140 (143). After winning the Qualification round, 1.FC Olbramovice started a group stage with an away victory at the stadium of arsportas (3:2 with performance 134). Here it looks that FC Remedy will go for the 1st place in group A, but the fight for second place can be dramatic.

Chelsea champion started their journey with an easy victory 4:2 (146 - 130) and their confirmed the high expectations. Romanian team fc centru calarasi didn't setup the game during the weekend - they still have chance to contact AquaAzzurri and setup the game until the end of this week, otherwise they'll lose the game 0:3.

Agree - I was expecting your team to win. But we had quite some surprises in this round. After two games, all groups are quite open and it's very difficult to predict who will qualify to QF stage at this moment.

With one of the best performances of this round (144), FC Remedy took another victory (4:2) at the stadium of 1.FC Olbramovice - and they are sitting on the top of the table. As mentioned above, lesbuffalos lost also their second game - this time home against arsportas. Belgian team was seeded from the second pot and as a team playing A division, they should be fighting for the second place. Right now they are at the bottom of the table and next weekend will be very important for them - they are playing two games against 1.FC Olbramovice and if lesbuffalos want to stay in the game, they need to get as many points as possible. Czech team is still in good position - so if they succeed during next weekend, they can make a huge step towards the play-offs. Lithuanian team is currently holding 2nd position, but they will play two games against FC Remedy - so they will need to show their best if they want to bring another surprise.

Group B:
Chelsea champion won their second game away at AquaAzzurri 2:1 - but their performance wasn't very good (140 vs 139) and Lithuanian team was very close to get a draw. Second game between K.S.K. Beveren and fc centru calarasi shown surprisingly higher quality (141 - 140), but it ended up with a goal-less draw. This group stays even more open than others - AquaAzzurri is currently holding 2nd position with 3 points, K.S.K Beveren and fc centru calarasi are 2 points behind. Romanian team could be in a better position, but as they haven't organized their first game against AquaAzzurri, they lost 0:3.

Group C:
Winner of the last season and team seeded from the first pot is currently holding the 4th position! rogiboys are staying behind the expectation - after losing their first game, they took just one point at smoking athlete. I have to say it wasn't a lucky game for Belgians, they played better (+6) and they also scored the opening goal, but Czech team managed to score an equalizier - and even with one player less after their striker Yudenko was shown the red card. Second game finished with another surprising draw - U.C. SAMPDORIA didn't confirm the away victory from the first round. Bulgarian team was slightly better (139 - 135), but they were down by 2 goals since 53' min. In the dramatic final 10 minutes of the game, they found a hero - Parada Barrera completed a hattrick by scoring two goals within two minutes (82' and 83') and set the final result - 3:3. Thanks to these goals, Bulgarian team is on the top of the table with 4 points - same as smoking athlete. The other two teams have both 1 point.

Group D:
Sparta Palmeiras is following the expectations so far - they took an important away victory 2:1 at the stadium of Primisimo FC, although Czech team was in the lead after the first half. These teams are now sitting on the top of the table. Third place goes to S.S. Wallachs - Romanians won 2:1 at FC Komunisti. The victory was expected - also the fact that Slovak team has 0 points is no surprise. But - they're very unlucky to be in this group, because they're playing very well so far. After playing 142 in previous round, now they played 146 at home (!!!) - which is not expected for the 4th pot's team who had to play qualification. On the other hand - Wallachs played 148 away - that's the top record in this season so far! As all four teams play very well so far, we can expect some surprises in next rounds - so even Sparta can't be sure with their leading position.

A reminder to all teams - as usual, round 3 & 4 are both scheduled within the same weekend (in the middle of the SP season). So, those teams which haven't noticed this, please make sure you setup your home games in advance.

I can feel little frustration after another lost match, considering i am satisfied with my performance. My opponents provided best perfo of these rounds, and two best perfos of current season (great gratulations!) So I am really lucky man

Being in your position, I would be frustrated as well But still, you're doing well and despite the current situation, you still have a real chance to get into the play-offs. This might be the most complicated group this season
