Maybe you have some idea.
For example, a 50% GR player demands a much smaller wage. If you sign him to a 5 year contract, but after 2 years he has grown to 85%, he's still on the wages of a 50% player. Of course, he has a contract, but in reality, maybe a player would request a renegotiation?
Here's my idea:
If such a scenario happens, player's morale will drop 10-15% and you'll receive a message that the player is unhappy with his contract. Of course, you can't lose him, but his morale will be lower, and will go down 1-2% each day. It's then up to you to deal with it and renegotiate.
It could be implemented like the new injury thing, where you have some players more prone than others. Equally, you could have players more greedy than others.
Not sure if this would be hard to implement, but it could be good. You could just make a general rule like, if you signed someone in a wage for a 50% player and he's now 70% on the same wages, there are high chances he will become unhappy...

That would just make it so much harder for the lower league teams to land big name players, because of the risk of moaners in the side about contracts that the manager cannot afford to give out.
