Forfeit a game

Post by Longhair;) »

It should be possible to forfeit a game!

This should not be visible for the other team. Suppose that team sees you are going to forfeit -> he sets up a weak team, and wham! you put on your best team and beat him.

Fan satisfaction should go down, the moral of every player that was placed on the field should go down, fitness should remain the same, as does the field status.

And what about the income: people are coming to the game, they paid their tickets, they had a veggie-dog,... maybe repay the tickets. No money from the TV either, etc...

What do you think??

Why forfeit a game?
When you do that, you should be taken out of competition.
If you don't want to play frienlies, don't accept them.
Don't subscribe on friendly cups.

That would be the start of the downturn to this game.

People would pay others off to forfeit games so that other clubs can win titles, cups.

The worst idea, ever implemeneted.

Forfeit a game

My situation:

First place in my division, but it's possible the end up on the fifth place. Why is that possible you might ask: massive casualties during the last few games (7 men down) and 3 men expelled.

Lucky for me, I don't have a lot of friendly cups planned until the next/last league match thursday. Most friendly cups start after the last league match. Few!

But suppose I had a lot of games in those friendly cups before that last league game, and my number of players would be limited. In that case I would want to spare my players, instead of letting them get tired on some not-so-important friendly cups. I would like to forfeit those matches if that would mean my players would be at least 100% fit at the start of that important league match.

And above all that: forfeiting should cause less/no income, lowering of moral, maybe even lower of the number of supporters, a small/large fine depending on the type of game,... So it's not like it's a positive thing.
I think it should at least be allowed in friendlies and friendly cups.

Then just select a squad of 0 pl;ayers and the simulation will forfeit for you.

But losing 7 men and 3 expelled. You are being haunted man.

Haunted I am!

Oh, that takes care of that... Indeed, I didn't realise it would accept the "-" in the dropdownlists.

In that case forfeiting the game is already implemented :) Well done Sjarel!
